JAVIER VALDEZ
SENIOR STYLIST
Javier has been in Austin, Texas for twelve years. He began his styling career six years ago. He enjoys cutting but finds coloring allows him to be more creative. Being a hair stylist wasn't always in his plans. Right out of high school Javier went to Sam Houston State for psychology initially. After visiting Regency Beauty Institute with his friends, Javier found himself attracted to the creative process of cutting, coloring and styling hair to help others with their self-image. Javier always enjoyed hair but didn’t really consider it as a career while he was in high school, even though he would practice styles he would see in magazines on his sister's hair when they were young. Javier is a talented stylist and active listener. He joined the Jose Luis family in October of 2017.
